Rawad A. Massih is a guitarist, music composer, producer and a writer. With his dissolved band The Hourglass, and his renewed band Rasas, he is considered one of the pioneers of Heavy Metal and Arabic Rock in the Middle East. His first solo album Ancient Hope consists of orchestrated epic instrumentals with electric guitar solos as a main instrument, which is also a genre never played before in the Middle East. He is also one of the few musicians from the region to do Electronic/SynthWave music which he in 2019 signed a deal with Universal Music Mena for his first album in that style titled Away From Planet Earth.
In 2019 Massih composed his first original musical score and soundtrack for a TV series. He manages his own Audiovisual production house RAM Studio.
