A duo from Paris composed of two self-taught musicians, JS Brosse (keyboards, vocals) and Philippe Sirop (drums), Ray Bartok has been creating soundscapes inspired by post-punk, jazz, soundtracks, and hip hop for fifteen years, following in the footsteps of bands like @Morphine and @Soul Coughing. The group has released three albums and two EPs, performed with @James White and @The Chap, and collaborated with musicians such as @Napoleon Maddox (IsWhat) and @Csaba Palotaï. "BEES," Ray Bartok's fourth album, is the trashy, groove-filled result of the duo's encounter with Bristol guitarist Jesse D. Vernon (@Morning Star Music Club, This is The Kit, Moonflowers, etc.), rich in excess and unbridled dialogue.
