Ray Bio
Ray Cepeda is a singer/guitarist who has been playing high-energy Latin and rock music around the San Francisco Bay Area for many years. One of his chief collaborators is the percussionist Jose "Chepito"Areas, best known for his work with Santana, Woodstock, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Abraxas Pool, and Malo.
I was Born on the border town of El Paso Texas. The music from both sides have deeply influenced my music. A combination of rock, latin and world influences comprise my music. I sing in Spanish and English. I’m an ex governor and voting member of the prestigious Grammy Recording Academy, NARAS and the Latin Academy of Arts and Sciences, LARAS.
