Breakout electronic producer RAYA’s debut single ‘Pollyanna’ was born out of 2020 lockdown self-care and is the next chapter in Raya’s ever evolving career and expression as a triple threat vocalist, DJ and producer. Carved by her obsession around 90’s and 00’s Hard House and French Electro and a yearning to find some optimism in a really dark period of her life after losing her father, Pollyanna was born as a thumping electro, synth-pop banger with gliding vocals and deep Berlin style basslines, a true break out track here to uplift our spirits in a time of need and get people dancing in their bedrooms across the globe. Raya is without doubt an exciting newcomer female to watch in the electronic music scene, and has already gained a steady hum of excitement behind her work and upcoming experimental EP ‘Push Push’ to be released later in the year.
