Singaporean Rayhul Firdaus is a singer-songwriter and guitarist for two bands called 2D (1999) and Project R4S (2001). He developed a passion for music performance, music arrangement, studio work, and production during my time with 2D. We were allowed to experiment with traditional Malay music and fuse it with mainstream music as a group. Additionally, He performed in numerous TV appearances, large concerts such as APM (Anugerah Planet Music) 2001/02, Simfoni Layar Perak, and other shows. In the local Malay music industry, 2D was regarded as a phenomenon because of its two albums. In the album titled '2Dimensi', Rayhul Firdaus arranged two songs for 2D, such as 'Seindah Syurgawi' and 'Sepi Itu Indah'.
In 2001, he formed a band with four other members called Project R4S. PR4S success culminated when we won Asian Beat 2002 and represented Singapore at the Regional Asian Beat held in Thailand. As part of the stint, we produced an album entitled 'Muqaddimah'. As the name implies, the purpose of this album was to portray a rock band with a traditional touch. APM 2004 nominated the album in two categories. His expertise in sound design further illustrates his talents as a musician, making Rayhul a multi-talented artist in the music industry.
Besides being involved in studio works he was likewise working as a sessionist with local several Singapore artists.
