Raymonde Howard is the one-woman band that the talented French songwriter Laetitia Fournier has led for 15 years. Her minimalist pop influenced by female-fronted bands, punk and blues is made out of guitar and singing loops. Her first album “For all the Bruises, Black Eyes and Peas” received national critical acclaim in 2010. Some sharks tried to get hold of her music but one cannot get to grips with an ex–riot grrrl so easily! She released one self-produced album and 3 more others on We Are Unique! records and Specific Records: Raymonde S/t (Angry Ballerina records, 2007), For All the Bruises, Black Eyes and Peas (WAUR, 2010), the original soundtrack of Raphaëlle Bruyas’ medium-length film Le Lit (WAUR-Specific, 2014) and S.W.E.A.T. (WAUR-Specific, 2017). Concurrently, Laetitia Fournier has become the singer in the indie-rock band Saffron Eyes. Their first EP “Pursue a less miserable life” (2020) is out on We Are Unique! too. Also, “The Year Loop Broke” (2021) is the name given to the comic-book carried out in association with the cartoonist Half Bob. It is available with a greatest-hits Cd compilation by Raymonde Howard on We Are Unique! and on Jarjille, the publishers. Summer 2015. A tour where things became a nightmare: Laetitia fell ill and ended up in a British hospital where she was diagnosed with a chronic pathology. Raymonde Howard will soon transform these misfortunes into a piece of Art taking the shape of a great comic strip!
