Rays Of Sunshine

"Rainbow" was written by our talented wish children in our 'Sunshine Choir', in a creative music production workshop with music producer @Silvastone. The powerful lyrics are a reflection of what they have been through in their journey with a serious illness, and their power to be "brave, strong, happy and bright" and how courageous they are as individuals.

Rays of Sunshine is a national children's charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill children aged three to 18 by granting magical wishes, hosting events and providing ongoing support within hospitals and in the community.

Wishes can be as unique as the children themselves and whether a child wants to be a princess or a fireman for a day, meet their favourite celebrity or even a 'real-life' mermaid, or find the Loch Ness Monster, Rays of Sunshine works hard to make that come true.

From the moment a wish is granted, families become part of our Wish Community, and are invited to join in any of the events which take place throughout the year – online and across the UK.

Our hospital team delivers sunshine to children up and down the country currently receiving treatment in hospitals.
