RC Hodge was born and raised in the small town of Donaldson Arkansas. His early musical influences were gospel and bluegrass and he was heavily influenced by Merle Haggard.
RC's road to Country Gospel music was fraught with a young adulthood of alcohol and drugs leading to his incarceration in the Wisconsin DOC for 12 years and 3 months.
While in prison RC gave his life to Jesus and began to do ministry through music. His current CD entitled " You're Why I Sing " was entirely written during his time in prison.
After his release he recorded his CD and began doing music ministry working with such iconic names as Barbara Fairchild and Norma Jean Martin in Branson Missouri.
RC has since had to stop being on the road due to health issues but continues to write and support other artists through his work.
