RC Rimal started his musical career early in his childhood when he covered popular songs of legendary singers of that time like Narayen Gopal, Bhakta Raj Acharya, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Karna Das, Pramod Kharel, Shiva Pariyar, Raju Lama as well as other popular numbers in both formally and informally. RC Rimal entered into the arena of Nepali music and singing with the melodious songs Priye, Sundarta, Dukhaudai Aayeu, Nepali Hami, Manda Manda, Dekhe Timilai, Bhir Mauri etc. He entered in Kathmandu at his very young age to grab his musical dream but it was not easy as he thought.
