Real Timpani is an italian band formed by Giulia Guerra (sound designer and producer) Jacopo Biffi (electronics), Pietro Vicentini (drums) and Matteo Pontegavelli (trumpet).
Their creative process starts with long improvisation sessions, later rearranged to reach a perfect balance between the genres, creating a fluid and unique character.
“The Great Torre” is their first release, to be published by Funclab Records in 2023. Composed and produced between Torre San Bartolo di Rancitella and Matteo’s studio, the EP is made up of five tracks, highlighting the band’s duality: an electronic, rhythmic and pulsating side opposed to a more intimate, ambient side. The tracks are united by a common research for an obsessive and hypnotic mantra.
