Real Timpani is a musical project resulting from the collaboration between artistic director Giulia Guerra and musicians Jacopo Biffi, Matteo Pontegavelli and Pietro Vicentini.
Their practice moves between improvisation and composition, weaving soundscapes characterized by sequences, obsessive rhythms and evanescent ambient atmospheres.
The interplay between trumpet, drums and electronics pulsates in a continuous dialogue between organic and synthetic. Electroacoustic and digital flow feed on the sensual imperfections of the human, in a mimetic act between reproduced and live sound.
