“It’s energetic motivation with a trap sound. I talk about things I want…things I been through.” RealKennyG’s music reflects his robust persona. The upcoming rapper lists Jay-z, Master P, and Young Dolph as musical influences along with a local rap group in Montgomery, AL known as the Lawn Boyz. The son of a DJ, he was a fan of music at an early age. In 2009 he enrolled in Alabama A&M as a Mechanical Engineering major and a Business Management minor. Two years later, he left college to focus on music and filled the roles of manager, engineer, and producer along the way. He picked up the mic after becoming frustrated with the lack of effort from more prominent acts. “My purpose in life is to spread positive energy and help others. Take care of my loved ones. Enlighten the youth. Create good music and GET TO THE MONEY!” he explains. In 10 years, RealKennyG sees himself being a hip-hop mogul and a father of two. “Already Famous 2” will be available on all streaming services in the upcoming months.
