Rebecca Helen

Last updated: 1 hour ago

South African artist Rebecca Helen is a confident, genre-fluid artist blending Indie Pop, Dance, Soul, R&B and subtle jazz influences. Her music moves between infectious, uplifting energy and soulful vulnerability, creating songs that are both emotionally resonant and unapologetically bold.
Rebecca first emerged in 2019 with her pop/dance album Musical Life, produced and recorded by Mick Evans and Rebeka Rain at Melpro Recording Studio, alongside Duncan Mackay of 10cc. She also collaborated with acclaimed songwriter Alan Roy Scott, known for his work with Kylie Minogue, Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand.
Her catalogue reflects her love of musical contrast, from the vibrant, high-energy pop of “GLOW,” co-written and produced by SAMA-nominated Sasha Righini, to the intimate soul/R&B-pop of “Worthy,” inspired by Olivia Dean’s honesty and warmth. Her music has reached 61 radio stations worldwide, and with 12 singles released since December 2023, Rebecca continues to build momentum and an eclectic catalogue of her own.
Now pursuing her dream of taking her music further into the UK and beyond, Rebecca is embracing travel, live performance and new creative opportunities. Her latest single, “I’m Over You,” is a bold, sensual Indie/Alt-Pop track blending soulful vocals, jazzy undertones, a catchy chorus and standout guitar solo capturing the freedom of breaking old patterns, choosing your own path and starting anew.
