Rebekkah Pohl

Rebekkah Pohl grew up with pastoral parents in Munich (Germany), who were both musical and devoted to Jesus and his bride. Even as a young girl, Rebekkah loved to worship on and off stage. As she grew older she developed a love for the presence of God and the intimacy with Jesus. She started writing poems and snippets of songs to process internal thoughts, emotions and the hardships of life that she faced.

At the age of 7 she was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. After years of therapy and her continual faith in Christ, she had a stem cell transplantation and barely survived after an induced coma in 2016. Through it all worship was her response.

After her long history with sickness, she went on a sabbatical and began writing songs, giving a voice to how she encountered Jesus in her life. But it was only years later that she felt led to share them.

Since then Rebekkah studied psychology, is a youth leader in her parent’s church and author of her own autobiography “Rest in peace, before you die - How God used my sickness to show me true life” and has released her first song “Homesick” as part of the journey. She is married to the love of her life, Daniel and lives to minister to Jesus first, giving him all her love and adoration.
