Rebel Souls is a death metal project originally hailing from Thuringia, Germany, where it was active from 2000 to 2003, before it was reformed in Málaga, Spain in late 2013.
Their debut “The Forces of Darkness” (with current Decapitated and ex-Vader drummer James Stewart on session drums), an 8-track grinder, delivering uncompromising, relentless, straightforward death metal was released by Art Gates Records in February 2017 to universally positive reviews all over the world. This was followed by concerts and tours with Heaven Shall Burn, Noctem, Grabak or Dead.
Their sophomore effort “Dawn of Depravity” (2022, via Blood Fire Death) shows a musically and lyrically more complex band, dealing with more tangible concepts and horrors of modern society, will still delivering merciless brutality.
