Recreational Fungus

Psychedelic-indie outfit based out of Huntsville, Alabama. Blend of old psychedelia with new. merging jam band elements with indie sensibilities, Fungus appeals to young and old. Taking from greats like the Grateful Dead but also inspired by acts like the Flaming Lips. Caleb Eades, guitarist/songwriter/founding member, wanted to build a religion around a fungus. And thought the best effort to cultivate that religion was through inducing auditory hallucinations. Thus Fungus was born. With Austin Pitts on drums laying down fills nobody else in the Huntsville Community could come close to. Jonathan Martinez on Bass Guitar(originally a guitarist) he also sings. Jon understood fungus’ mission and brings forth original songs to fungus. Max Martin who is the one and only Max on Sax lays down tasty saxophone. And Caleb’s old college acquaintance Christopher Payne who was locked up in his bedroom working on @BothEndzBurning. Chris plays keyboard, sings, and also writes original songs for the group. Together they are Recreational Fungus. And they will. Spread.
