Red Beard is the project of Jaime Dimas, born in Gran Canaria in a house where music was not supported as a profession, but where he grew up surrounded by iconic records by <a href="spotify:artist:7nwUJBm0HE4ZxD3f5cy5ok" data-name="Aretha Franklin">Aretha Franklin</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0N5PyKJzS3M1XNlaCL7bbE" data-name="Wilson Pickett">Wilson Pickett</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4wQ3PyMz3WwJGI5uEqHUVR" data-name="Allman Brothers Band">Allman Brothers Band</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:60df5JBRRPcnSpsIMxxwQm" data-name="Otis Redding">Otis Redding</a> among many others. After years of secretly composing, and influenced by all those records and compilations, Jaime formed Red Beard. Since then this project has taken him to play in different countries like USA, most of Europe and even Equatorial Guinea, participated in festivals like the Ramblin' Man Fair in UK and shared the stage with artists like <a href="spotify:artist:4MVyzYMgTwdP7Z49wAZHx0" data-name="Lynyrd Skynyrd">Lynyrd Skynyrd</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:161AC1AVRkIGIMxyj5djFQ" data-name="Clutch">Clutch</a> and many more. They are currently presenting "Die Trying", an album produced and recorded at Fame Recording Studio, Muscle Sholas, Alabama, being the first Spanish band to ever set foot on the soil of this emblematic place where they gave birth to what we know today as southern rock.
