Hello, I am Red Farrow. I grew up on a farm in southern Ontario, surrounded by music since my grandparents ran a small church and choir up north. I began music production a littler later after not finding passion in my undergraduate program. After some massive life changes I studied downtown Toronto before putting out my first single a year later.
As Red, I live mostly in the genres of pop and house but I love to collaborate with a wide variety of artists to find that beautiful space where two tastes collide. Having studied in Seoul, I take a lot of house and Kpop influence into my work. Extensive travels in South America have also greatly contribute to my style.
Finding music was a saving grace. The only time my mind is in the moment and clear of distraction is when I am working on a track. I love anything that swells with motion, tells a story or inspires movement. Since I identify as a romantic myself, I strive to put all of my highest highs and lowest lows in the music I create. When I can find a place that I connect with another artist then true magic can really happen.
Art never belongs to us, we only shape, recreate, and combine what already exists to share with others. I hope you enjoy my sounds and I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
