Red Stone Chapel was originally formed in late 2009 in the state of Hesse, Germany with the intention to create southern-influenced stoner rock. After several releases over the years, including 2019s album "Omega Boombox", and multiple line-up changes, todays band incarnation was formed in late 2023 which lead to a new direction regarding the musical alignment of the band. Still deep rooted in the sludgy tunes of the swamps of NOLA, the sound of RED STONE CHAPEL today combines heavy riff orgies, intense vocals somewhere between Norway in the 90s and Evil Elvis and excessive songwriting. The release of the second album is planned for 2025, including tons of live shows to experience the face melting wall of sound of the band's jawbreaking SWAMP METAL!
