Red Voqus are Khalid Jaladian (Alit), Gian Van den Bos (Gian), Noah van den Bos (Bonny), and Jordanio Maxmilian (Jojo). The band was formed in 2018, based on Alit and Gian's experiences living abroad in Germany. After several lineup changes, with former members Andika Rahimy, Winogradsky Tikulla, and Mirsa Raib, the current formation was finalized in 2023.
Influenced by Stoner, Grunge, and Progressive Rock acts such as TOOL, Soundgarden, and Porcupine Tree, their music blends heavy and nostalgic riffs with a modern edge with a hint of Indonesian ethnic music. With notable releases such as "Nothing is Silence", "Sanctuary" and "Heresy", the band is working on their debut album, "Hoqus Voqus".
