The group's newest single, Cascade (release Feb 2020), showcases an evolution of their sound; more melodic while still keeping the upbeat tempo of their debut EP. Recorded at Eiger Studios (Leeds, UK) and produced by Nevis Audio, the single is a story of passionate teenage romance backed up by crashing drums, a pounding bass line and huge, rich guitar licks.
The band have recently seen an upturn in their live shows, playing with fellow York outfits Pavillion and Pool Room at a charity gig for Amnesty International before supporting Francis Lung and, most recently, Talk More at a packed out Fulford Arms. Red Yeti's, breakneck pace but upbeat live shows are not one to be missed!
Scott Marshall's bass locks in seamlessly with Luci Skelton's drums to create a dynamic, groovy foundation upon which Oli King and Mikey Mckelvey can use their guitars and vocals to build dreamy, summery soundscapes with catchy choruses and pacey guitar breaks to make the audience want to get on their feet and dance.
