Redshift

Redshift is a small collective of two composers, one German and one British. We mainly focus on making something between neoclassical and trying to navigate our way through the vast world of modern music, while still making something meaningful. As two people living in Cologne, we are of course aware of the city's rich cultural background. Our music therefore reflects a broader cultural change away from the classic "Schlager" and easy-listening pop music to more accessible instrumental and digital production. More globally, we find ourself in the midst of a rise of a new narrative-driven and "emotion-first" kind of production, which we value highly in our releases, balancing meaning and musical complexity. Well then, have fun listening to our music and we'll see you at Wembley in 2032 ;)
