Redzone Capo

Redzone Capo is a raw and culturally rooted rapper from Mauritania, Senegal, and Belgium. Born in Nouakchott and raised in Antwerp, his music connects street life, heritage, and personal truth. He embodies both struggle and resilience — speaking from the heart of the city and the soul of his people.

His second name, Souleymane Bal, comes from his father’s village Senno Boussobé, where he is named after legendary leader Souleymane Baal. In 2023–2024, Redzone travelled to both Mauritania and Senegal to reconnect with his family roots — a journey that shaped his vision even deeper.

He raps in Dutch, Pulaar, and French, using language as a weapon and a bridge. His code is clear:

> “I don’t steal. I don’t hate. I’m not jealous. I want others to win. Respect first, always.”

With no formal degree but a sharp mind, Redzone Capo puts it bluntly:

> “Until proven otherwise, I’m the Mauritanian with the highest Dutch level — and no diploma.”
