As I'm writing this, I'm trying hard to think about what you should know about me. For starters, my name is Marcus Reece Seepersad, and I'm a certified island-boy: born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago.

My music is as diverse as the place I come from, with influences spanning Soca, Reggae, Zouk, R&B, Pop etc. The single ingredient tying my music together is that unmistakable Caribbean vibe - you know it when you hear it.

While being a recording and performing artist has been my lifelong dream, life took me on a winding road before getting here. From being an amateur musician juggling music with university studies, I'm now embracing the prospect of the full-time music life.

My experiences have taught me the importance of remaining positive, and this is reflected in the songs I write. I'm definitely not a saint, but I keep at music because I believe that I have a message worth sharing.
