Born in Rome, REHD started writing his first thoughts in a diary, turning them into poetry. In high school, he discovered epic poetry and rap at the same time, drawn to the way both worlds played with words and meaning. Fascinated by lyricism, he began paraphrasing Illmatic, deepening his connection to music. Raised by a musician father, sound was always part of his life. He took his first steps in rap as Redan, joining the collectives Aren Music and later Pretty Well.
In 2019, he began producing music without setting genre boundaries, seeing music as a universal language without idioms. For REHD, music is also therapy—a communicative vehicle through which he processes and expresses his emotions. Beyond his own work, he writes for others under the name Andrea Unaegbu.
