Grounded in Hip Hop yet fluid in style and influence, Montreal-based artist Rekinsa has been making music since the mid '90s. Stylistically his influences are oriented towards the ‘70s era, giving rise to various vibes and moods, from Hip Hop to soul and funk.
Released recently, his debut EP <a href="spotify:album:1B6HPHhD0S8dAfF6IETLsv" data-name="Timing">Timing</a> is a sample-based instrumental project mixed with real instruments and infused with a raw aesthetic.
With elements of soul, psychedelic soul and jazz, his first public release of original beats stays true to Hip Hop while incorporating Rekinsa’s own flava.
