In late 2011, a ragtag assortment of street musicians began playing together around Boston, MA's Berklee College of Music. After a few years of casually jamming on street corners, subway platforms and park benches, the collective solidified its lineup and moved into the bars, pubs and clubs of Downtown Boston. By spring of '15, they had released a self-titled EP of original material, drawing scattered praise from indie music journos.
One year later, the Elephants (now a trio of Drew Lucas on vocals/lead guitar, Zack Hankins on vocals/rhythm guitar, and Berklee alum Adam Khalil on bass) released their debut full-length, "Paper Walls," and relocated to Los Angeles.
Their newest single, "So Many Ways," was released on March 1st of 2019, and was followed by their second album, "Major Plastic Sabotage", which was released on April 19th, 2020.
