Beginning in the city of Amsterdam, he enrolled at the Conservatorium and looked destined to walk the formal musical path until an internship at Magnetron Music and a weekend gig at Rush Hour sent him tumbling down the rabbit hole, he quickly moved behind the scenes at the fabled label, beginning a journey into sound.

Hoovering up old school obscurities, his DJ sets draw from a reservoir of records running deeper than the Mariana Trench. From Krautrock B-sides to dubbie rave style and warehouse electronica, Shazam won’t ever be ready for his unique and heady selections. Whether a secret spot with his Noclubs collective, or a stage at your favourite festival’s favourite festival, he’s experienced dancefloors from South America to Amsterdam’s local hot spots.

His live performance is, in essence, his music making process expanded to create a mutant, quirky and structured dancefloor oriented sonic sculpture with the help of distinct gear, technologies and experiences. But most important, it is a reflection of his efforts to learn with a life dedicated to music and liquidly shaped sounds.

Away from the booth and into the studio, his 2022 ‘H20 EP’ on Rush Hour Music continues an impressive early run of releases that shows no sign of stopping.
