Based in Portugal and a real nomad of sounscapes, he is considered by his peers
as an african treasure. Born in Senegal, Remna Schwarz has lived in the
Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, France,
Cuba and the United States. Promoted by DEEDO, Remna performed in 2018 at
the -"South By Southwest Festival”, in Texas, one of the biggest music festivals in
the american continent and received excelent reviews such as that of Wobean
Music which cites the music of Remna as “Great Pan-African Music”.

Remna today performs, composes and produces for series or for artists such as
Karyna Gomes, Eneida Marta, Nancy Vieira and many more. He also produced in
collaboration with Poundo the soundtrack for the MANJAK series which was
released on the Canal+ Afrique channel and was the recepient of the UBUNTU
D’OR For best african television serie in 2021. He received an homage for best
modern musician in Guinea Bissau in 2023. He also composed the soundtrack of
the film NOME which was selected at the CANNES FESTIVAL 2023.
