After being honorably discharged in 2014, Rena turned her attention to creating music, which has culminated in her first single, “IGOTU”, due for release on April 30, 2021.
Despite a pandemic, Rena scheduled studio time to begin recording her own original music. While other music was ready to record, she was constantly pulled back to the hypnotic “IGOTU” beat. There was something powerful and vibrant about the way it made her feel, and she became determined to share this feeling with the world. Inspired by the beat, the song essentially wrote itself within 30 minutes.
