A graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Rene fuses technical mastery with raw emotion—offering a sound that’s as refined as it is relentless.

Rene is also a composer, producer, and studio musician, creating a distinct voice in progressive and hard rock. He graduated from Fermatta in Mexico City, a Berklee-affiliated school. He later toured internationally with Masters of Puppets, the world’s top Metallica tribute, helping them reach major venues, billboards across the U.S., and features in Los Angeles Times.

He’s featured in Musicians Institute’s Success Stories and has recorded for top YouTuber El Escorpión Dorado. In 2018, he performed at the World Peace Festival at the Honda Center—broadcast to nine U.S. cities and over 60,000 people. Rene has trained through masterclasses with Steve Vai, Guthrie Govan, Tosin Abasi, Frank Gambale, Glenn Hughes, Carmine Appice, Billy Sheehan, Marcus Miller, and Scott Henderson.
