Friends, Craig and Alex met in 2015, not too long after they started writing songs together. What came from these early writing sessions were songs washed with a foreboding sense of melancholia. In 2016 they released their debut E.P 'Happy Miserable' and soon after, 'By The Sea' followed. Both E.P's felt like therapy, speaking of trauma and angst. The band, then known as BEING toured mainland Europe and the UK as they confessed their raw and oblique sound to new audiences.
Over the coming years they worked on their debut L.P, released in 2019, 'A Death In The Family' was a perfect mix of darkness and hope. The album attracted international reviews and interest, the singles 'Fragile' 'Hurts' and 'Endless' felt like a full circle long-term recovery course, while 'Brother' 'Talk In The Morning' and 'Seriously' showed a softer side to the band.
Since the album release, a number of singles have come, 'All Thanks To You' 'Lighthouse' 'Healthy', and others, during mid 2022, the band changed name to Repasure (pronounced rep-a-sure) and in July will release 'Roadtrips' - a sonic departure for the band, but again showing their ever growing exploration for new sounds and landscapes.
Both E.P's have been repackaged as 'The Collection' and the bands singles catalogue will follow as 'The Singles'. Repasure intend to release further new music over the coming months and years.
