Reset to Zero is an original heavy rock project comprised of veterans of the Kansas City rock music scene. Featuring Rick Allen and Marty Johnson on guitars, Phil Brinkley on bass and Brent McLaughlin on drums. Featuring three part harmonies and melodic hooks that will get your feet moving and singing along with the choruses, the music is infectious.
When trying to decide what to name the band, they all looked at their own musical histories, as well as the history of this band. Persevering through line up changes and many of the members finding new beginnings both musically and professionally, they came across the phrase Reset to Zero and it clicked. They feel the name is especially appropriate given the current state of the world, when many of us have had our lives changed in ways we never expected, forcing us to reset to zero and confront a new reality.
Reset to Zero hopes their music helps provide an entertaining shelter from the storms of the world, a place where you can let loose and relax for a little while.
