Retail Therapy have shaped their own identity by blending the sounds of new wave, pop punk, shoegaze, funk and post rock.
Having all met at university, they began performing headline gigs in January 2025. They went on to release their debut single ‘97 Chaser in the following months, a fuzzy, driving, energetic shoegaze track.
In the same way artists like Paramore and Title Fight combine overdriven riffs and emotional vocals, Retail Therapy utilise youth frustration as a source of empowerment.
