Retox'D

Retox’D is a duo formed by Nick Dynamo (mc/lyrics) & Teoh (dj/producer). Coming from entirely different musical backgrounds, Retox’D is an electrifying collective. They break down genres by infusing the sounds of electro, hip-hop, rock, and funk into their music. The group owes their synergy to completely contrasting styles throughout their development. Teoh chose the path of electronica & was a locally renowned producer having played at various electronic festivals & underground raves across SE Asia. Nick D, raised on Hip Hop, was and still is an intrinsic member of The 108 POSSE, a Canadian group formed in 1992. Assisted by a prominent supporting network, this unorthodox mixture of personas managed to unite and form a trend-setting group.

After a long break, the group is returning with a long-awaited new album “Hard Rock” in 2020. The album features 9 songs that are edgier, darker and more electronic than songs from last album. The group has also taken collaborations to another level with multiple music and video remixes arranged with local and international acts including Alok, Sam Lie, DJ’s Ignotus aka Waleed & Evan Sagle of the Record Room. In the year of the COVID where everyone’s life has come to a standstill, this new endeavor of Retox’d is sure to inject some excitement and surprises for your eyes and ears
