Reuben Whetten

A third-generation hand-me-down guitar and a deep desire started it all. In 2019, at his high school talent show in Colonia Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Reuben Whetten made his debut performance. He released several singles, the <a href="spotify:album:1RvUStO3XmU6IK5JE4jdU3" data-name="STRUGGLES">STRUGGLES</a> EP, and his debut singer/songwriter album <a href="spotify:album:4u3XfemWBlcwOZ57nBzHO5" data-name="Outside">Outside</a> in 2021. Later that year, he turned to country music with the <a href="spotify:album:7zeSB7Xe1OLI5W5yzxUAcP" data-name="In Those Boots">In Those Boots</a> EP. His 2022 album <a href="spotify:album:354GRlqfR8EL82zMesJyNK" data-name="Inside">Inside</a> continued that path, blending storytelling with his unique sound.

That same year in July, Reuben began his two-year missionary service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Puebla, Mexico. After returning home in 2025, he released <a href="spotify:album:2cRPKGwnbOzHlMdMDsZ9Lf" data-name="Songs I Wrote on My Mission">Songs I Wrote on My Mission</a>, inspired by daily journal entries about the hardships he faced.

Now performing live shows and releasing new music, Reuben’s music has gained radio airplay across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and has been featured in regional media outlets such as Mundo Vaquero. He continues to carve out his sound through story-driven country music shaped by a wide range of influences.
