Reveka (Christina Parkhurst) started her journey at just 7 years old as a self-described "choir kid." It was through choir and piano lessons that she built a musical foundation in chords, harmonies, and arrangements. In her words, "music, at its core, is all relationships: how pitches relate to one another in timbre, time, and space."
As a teenager she went on to study music composition, further deepening her understanding and appreciation for the art of creating something new. Discovering electronic music opened a whole new musical world for her as she was exposed to endless possibilities of timbre, instrumentation, and effects.
Today, her music borrows from multiple genres, combining melodic and ethereal elements for a sound that doesn't try to be unique, but is still uniquely her. As she describes it: "If it has a strong melody and a lot of reverb, I'll probably like it."
