Revenge Body

Hailing from the Inner-West of Sydney, Revenge Body have done all this before.

They are the late in the third quarter comeback, the forgotten pill you find in your wallet at three am, the after party for the after party. They are what happens to misspent youth when they find they still have change in their pocket and rage in their hearts.

Stealing riffs from the post hardcore bands you used to spill your drinks to at those shitty Oxford street clubs, Revenge Body provides a soundtrack equally nostalgic for the naivety of the punk rock party scene of the double zeros and those angry at a current political climate that will see the end of this kind of care free hedonism.

Revenge Body remember where they were when they heard Kurt died, survived Nu Metal and oscillate between the last two Idles records and Nick Cave’s Murder Ballads. They have scraped together their collective angst and turned it into a handful of songs that reflect both their sordid past and their burning hope for the present.
