REVERSIDE (as in Reverse-Side) is the pop project of swiss composer, pianist and singer-songwriter Eric Bakhch-Pour.
The songs have been recorded at Influx Studios in Bern with producer Slade Templeton, and at Sycoon studios in Geneva. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the 80's, with a cinematic touch.
Born in 1980, Eric studied classical music and piano at the Geneva Conservatory of Music. He started composing at the age of 13.
He grew up listening to a lot of film scores by artists like Danny Elfman, Christopher Young, John Ottman, Bernard Herrmann, James Newton-Howard, James Horner and John Williams. Film music being his passion, he started composing themes and scores for short and full length films.
He’s also been influenced by 80’s and 90’s New Wave bands like Depeche Mode, The Cure, Duran Duran, A-ha among many others.
