Rex Racer also known as Alex is a small town songwriter from Ashland KY with the primary goal of creating something different from the rest of the crowd. Dubbing himself a “visionary” rather than an artist, Alex strives to create engaging ideas and experiences across a sonic landscape.

Starting out in 2024 with his debut single; “<a href="spotify:track:7B4yXP0KN5PzPSejt4CkaT" data-name="I DON&#39;T LIKE GIRLS">I DON&#39;T LIKE GIRLS</a>” Rex would debut with a pop fueled, sample heavy song where he would simply vent his frustration over his previous relationships.
A few months later, Rex would release his second single “<a href="spotify:track:6oszwucwE4QpfW2CkMKpBZ" data-name="STONE COLD &amp; CALCULATED">STONE COLD &amp; CALCULATED</a>” where he would contemplate if he was any better than the women of his past, that he himself is cold and calculated.
Unknown to most, an album was planned to accompany these songs and was fully recorded but never completed due to Rex feeling that a “heartbreak” album wasn’t what he wanted as his debut full-length project.

In Fall 2024, Rex would meetup with his mentor &amp; fellow musician <a href="spotify:artist:3tG8v81C32gJ64ba0WN0N2" data-name="Hi, I&#39;m Chris">Hi, I&#39;m Chris</a> to discuss where to go next with his music. Rex would spend the next several months crafting an 18 Track Mixtape titled; “NRG” Released exclusively on Soundcloud &amp; YouTube in Spring 2025.

Now in the present, Rex has just released his debut streaming album; “<a href="spotify:album:1NCFCru541v5uaV6p6gmIP" data-name="CAMO BOY">CAMO BOY</a>” with songs like <a href="spotify:track:1d15LcyuBVtSBiJ99kbckE" data-name="ARMCO">ARMCO</a> featuring <a href="spotify:artist:3tG8v81C32gJ64ba0WN0N2" data-name="Hi, I&#39;m Chris">Hi, I&#39;m Chris</a>, <a href="spotify:track:0lgEGbHQRK6iPKTWUGrTP3" data-name="CRASH">CRASH</a> featuring <a href="spotify:artist:6JykEWQR2FughIU02KDbDp" data-name="spaecii">spaecii</a>, confronting the idea of being a ghost in your own life, what it means to feel invisible and who’s responsible; your surroundings or you yourself.
