Rex Regis...


Newcastle based artist/producer for the past 10 years. Working out of the west end of Newcastle as a Youth Music Worker at Chat, Rex has grown a a massive catalog of releases that he has been apart though writing, mixing, mastering or producing to the likes of Kay Greyson, Conscript and The Brainfeeders to name a few of the older more established artists. And then the likes Gypsy Lipstick, Zombie Killerz and Cameron Sparks in recent times.


Never one to shy away from the microphone, Rex has 3 solo releases so far “Faithful” “Faith Restored” and “The Third” as well as a group project “Brainfeeders: Group Therapy” and has a 4th solo upcoming release “Parting Gift” which will come out under the Legitimate Anarchy umbrella more towards winter.


Rex also is never short of pushing the boat out visually. With videos such as “The Truest” and “Married To The Game” both gaining regional praise for the quality of ideas and execution delivered with them. And looks to keep that streak going with the single releases from “Parting Gift”


There is not a stage around that Rex is never to far away from. Whether it be in Newcastle or Darlington. With regular shows planned for the O2 Academy and a ton more coming with the rest of the Legitimate Anarchy Crew. Maybe retirement can wait a little longer...
