Rey Lenon is a young musician from Munich. Trained in piano and opera singing, she has nevertheless turned to pop music at an early age in order to work through personal experiences. Rey Lenon works with electronically produced sounds and piano, lets her classical repertoire flash through again and again, especially vocally, when she weaves, deforms and loops her bombastic voice into the sound carpet.
Rey Lenon has been making music since her teenage years: first 2 albums with the Munich local heroes Tonwertkorrektur, then a collaboration with the internationally known DJ and producer duo Baal. As Rey Lenon she is now on her way solo. The first single MCKY was released in October 2019 on Seayou Records. Her debut album, also on Seayou Records, is expected to be released in autumn 2020.
