REY MARS CAMAHALAN: A MUSICAL JOURNEY
Rey Mars Ramos Camahalan was born in Cabanatuan City on December 19, 1999. He is the youngest child of Filipino Farmers Ricardo Camahalan and Cherry Ann Ramos who moved to Nueva Ecija from Southern Leyte Visayas at the age of 5. His parents taught him the Visayan Dialect, particularly Cebuano. He has two Siblings: Ronald Camahalan and Rachel Ann Camahalan.
Rey Mars Camahalan is a talented Filipino Musical Artist known for his captivating voice and inspiring cover songs and musical instruments. Rey Mars has been passionate about music since a young age. He started singing at the age of 6. He was also interested in Piano, Guitar, and Violin.
EARLY LIFE AND CAREER
Growing up in a family that encouraged creativity, Rey Mars began singing and playing instruments at a young age. He was influenced by various genres, including pop, rock, jazz, and more. After completing his education, Rey Mars pursued a career in music, performing at local venues and events. Rey Mars's breakthrough came when he released a hit single covering “Sa Isang Sulyap Mo” in 2020 which won a music competition in Cebu and went viral on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.
Many people used his cover songs as lip sync by social media users especially the elders. Currently, the song already reached (10M) ten Million streams in different platforms.
