The band Rezo da Bavshvebi (Rezo and kids) was founded in 2010 and it is composed of 5 members. Main repertoire of the band consists of songs written by themselves, and all of the in Georgian language. The aim of the band is to be a part of the international music market while singing in Georgian. They believe that Georgian language, like music, is original and, most importantly, indigenous, it tells about the past history of Georgia, as well as the current social situation.
Rezo and Bavshvebi has reach experience in performing in various TV shows starting from 2011 till present. The band is especially popular among children and young people. The band is associated with words such as: positive, colorful, youthful, funny, etc. They have recorded more than 10 singles and the first album was released in 2021 composed of 11 songs. These songs were being written and arranged for 10 years, hence it includes different periods of the band’s existence.
