R&F is an alternative rock project started in 2020 by guitarist, songwriter and vocalist, Rob Fiona. There are a number of singles in the pipeline, two of which were released on Spotify earlier in 2021 - “Embers in September” and “Correspondent”. Rob’s style is edgy and melodic with dark melancholy sensibilities. Subject matter tends to be subtly political and occasionally introspective. The first single “Embers” tackles the California wildfires while “Correspondent” laments the state of bias at certain large network news outlets. “You Win” explores the grit required to overcome loss.
