Rhumba Club

Rhumba Club is the synth-pop &amp; alt-disco project of Jersey-born, London-based artist Tom Falle, blending analogue synths, disco grooves, and reflections on queer culture. Inspired by <a href="spotify:artist:1pggi3bfbAPkwrylE63MEO" data-name="Patrick Cowley">Patrick Cowley</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2ycnb8Er79LoH2AsR5ldjh" data-name="Pet Shop Boys">Pet Shop Boys</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2x9SpqnPi8rlE9pjHBwmSC" data-name="Talking Heads">Talking Heads</a>, Rhumba Club makes music that is both deeply personal and dancefloor-ready.

His new album <a href="spotify:album:0aZ89rtey3peukFuCSyEon" data-name="HONCHO">HONCHO</a> earned him a PPL Momentum Music Fund Award &amp; features Italians Do It Better signees <a href="spotify:artist:2A61sQntb4CUdnHQeb2tog" data-name="Juno Francis">Juno Francis</a> and <a href="spotify:track:1g5ub5AjDOzhr82htqp0hA" data-name="Animal/Lover">Animal/Lover</a>, a duet with <a href="spotify:artist:6s92YZUPkTK1HL1WIGrPKE" data-name="Patrick Wolf">Patrick Wolf</a>—Wolf’s first-ever feature on another artist’s record. HONCHO also bore the single <a href="spotify:track:2fWi00xgB64VzNxIDWHHwL" data-name="Talk Me Into It">Talk Me Into It</a>, lauded by Steve Lamacq on Radio 6, and scouted by acclaimed Czech filmmaker David Ondříček, who cast Falle performing the song in the climactic scenes of his upcoming film.

Since releasing his debut <a href="spotify:album:0seWfKRVEj9qS3TiigxKZb" data-name="Welcome to the Rhumba Club">Welcome to the Rhumba Club</a>, Falle has earned support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 6, GQ, Attitude, The Line of Best Fit, The Fader, Wonderland and Clash, while also creating music for Hermès, Fendi and Adidas. His 2023 follow-up <a href="spotify:album:5qO5ZID1nsKP8isrVfNFSW" data-name="Love Apokalypto">Love Apokalypto</a> spawned the alt-summer classic <a href="spotify:track:7AkDmxBz2ng2bpWkvNYAbl" data-name="Beach Lizard">Beach Lizard</a> and 6Music favourite <a href="spotify:playlist:2LfdKENsSwZUKL1L0DK6hg" data-name="Perfect Queen">Perfect Queen</a>, cementing him as a vital queer disco voice.
