A cat that wears many hats, Ria Boss is a Ghanaian-Burkinabé singer-songwriter celebrated for her soulful blend of neo-soul, jazz, and R&B. She is also known for being a powerhouse musician, visual artist, songwriter and passionate performer. Affectionately nicknamed, “Cat Mama” Boss has created “Cat Mama World” where her multiple artistic personalities come to life.
Her album, Remember was ranked the number 1 R&B album of 2022 by Native Magazine and her live show Cat Mama World has gained popularity for its showcase of her theatrical ability and excellent storytelling. Boss also hosts “Cat Mama World” on Oroko Radio, and works as creative team lead for Black Girls Glow .
Boss is also the co-founder of “Ria Boss Open Mic”, an open mic and live performance showcase and is the creator of “Ria Boss Presents”.
She is currently based in her hometown Accra, Ghana.
