Ria Carval

Ria Carval is a bilingual Latin Pop singer-songwriter blending soulful melodies, personal stories, and multicultural rhythms in both English and Spanish. Originally from Cali, Colombia, she began her musical journey early—winning national contests and opening major events like Colombia’s Festival Internacional del Ballet. She later moved to the U.S. to pursue music professionally, earning a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry with honors from a private New York university.

Now based in the Bay Area, Ria has released an album, an EP, six singles, and several collaborations—garnering over 160,000 streams and features in radio, TV, blogs, and print media worldwide. She performs regularly across California and New York, both solo and with the band Groove Ride, gracing stages at venues like the Santa Clara Fairgrounds, The Palace Hotel SF, and Redwood City Courthouse Square.

Her music blends Latin-rooted production often inspired by Juan Luis Guerra, the modern pop feel of Selena Gomez, and powerful vocal melodies reminiscent of Christina Aguilera.
