Ria Gold describes themself as a queer R&B singer/songwriter born in Omaha, Ne and raised in a small town in Ohio. Their music career started in a small home studio at the age of 6.
A yearning for self-expression prompted Ria to begin writing poetry in their early years of grade school. Organically, their love of stacking harmonies and turning truth-filled phrases into catchy melodies, transformed self-therapeutic poems into Ria’s personal music style today!
School talent shows flowed into Open Mic nights that turned into paid gigs. Having performed at The Bourbon Theater, The Bay and festivals such as Lincoln Calling, Ria Gold has definitely checked off some boxes in their career.
