Sydney songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Ric Rufio has built a career on a love for bold and arresting sounds.
Known and respected for his work with Flight Facilities in recent years, as both a vocalist and touring musician, Ric Rufio has dedicated time outside this project in developing and evolving his own solo project.
Much like the artists whose music and artistry has influenced him, including Frank Ocean, James Blake, Joji and Blood Orange, Ric Rufio’s music blends emotional weight with expansive sonic production. The anchoring of powerful lyricism amid a swirl of sonic tones ranging from pulsating beats and crisp keys, to careening guitars and insatiable groove, makes Ric Rufio a dynamo.
