Velvet chanteuse, princess of the piano. Philippine-born Rica Arambulo has been known for her work as keyboardist, musical director, and award-winning compser-arranger. Coming from a multi-generational musical family, Rica started out as a competition-level classical pianist. She obtained a cum laude Bachelor of Music from the University of the Philippines College of Music. Under the independent Cake records, she released the eponymous Rica Arambulo (2002) distributed by Viva affiliate Neo Records. The album, featuring . "Summer's Here", "Ikaw at Ako Pa Rin", "Missing You", and "Dahan-Dahan" garnered 2 Awit award nominations. She returned to recording in 2010 with "Am I?" featuring "Perfect Weather", "Simplify", "In My Dreams", and the title track. She has performed live in the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Spain, at the Midem in Cannes, France, and Philippine International Jazz Festivals.
